Sometimes I feel like Goldilocks when I’m at the grocery store looking for ripe avocados.

Most are way too hard and some are far too ripe. Rarely do I come across one that’s just right!

I usually opt for the rock-hard avocados with the hope that they’ll eventually soften up. But after a few days of waiting for my precious guacamole-makers to ripen, I grow frustrated and cut into them. I’m always disappointed by the still-solid flesh.

If only I had known this quick trip to ripen an avocado in a snap, I could’ve saved so much annoyance!

Grab some tin foil and pop that bad boy in the oven!
