According to livescience.com drowning is a leading cause of accidental death for children. Some of the factors that are linked to drowning are a lack of pool barriers and a lack of basic swimming skills. Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) was founded in 1966 by Dr. Harvey Barnett. They teach survival swimming lessons to infants and young children. They have a team of 450 highly trained instructors.

The company’s mission is “Not One More Child Drowns.” They believe that drowning prevention is multi-layered, involving supervision, pool fences, pool alarms, and training toddlers how to save themselves if more traditional lines of defense fail. Toddlers learn to roll on their backs, float, and cry for help! Watch the video below and share this with your family and friends!

ISR can help teach your child to save themselves if they end up alone in the water! Share away, people!
