Good news for Samsung Lovers… Samsung is preparing for an expensive smartphone launch this month with the Galaxy Note 8, launched globally only a few days back. While the official India launch date is still not out, a source has learnt that the best smartphone will hit retail retires here sometime in the last week of September, in time for Diwali.
A Samsung Smart Cafe sales executive has told that the first batch of units will be delivered to the customers near 24th September in Delhi-NCR. Pre-bookings are yet to be open.
Samsung has planned to bring the Galaxy Note 8 in 2 storage variants to India which is 64GB and 128GB. Initially, the 256GB storage variant is unlikely to be available. The Galaxy Note 8 may start upwards of Rs 65,000. In the US, the base variant is $930 which is Rs 59,357 in INR.
Samsung will begin a training exercise from september 4 to explain salers regarding the new Galaxy Note 8. It seems that Samsung might be organizing a launch event in the second week of September. India will be the first country to get Galaxy Note 8. In the US and South korea, it will be available on 15th September. In Australia, the shipment date of this device has been set for 22nd September.
Samsung announced the Galaxy Note 8 date in NY on 23rd August. The device provides a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED Infinity Display with a resolution 1440 x 2960p. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, paired with 6GB RAM and support for microSD card slot.
The phone also carries dual 12mp rear camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) on both with f/1.7 wide-angle lens and the f/2.4 telephoto lenses and 2x optical zoom. There is an 8mp front camera. It supports IP68 water and dust resistance. The best thing in it is, it features the S-Pen stylus.
