Chief Fire Officer Arun Kumar Singh said, “The fire broke out at 7 pm, and 12 fire tenders were deployed to bring it under control. There were no injuries.”
There were 50 workers inside the factory when the fire started, and they all were taken out safely. Six fire engines were rushed to the spot to douse the flames. Rescue operations are currently underway.
The fire broke out in the Haldiram’s factory in Sector 68, Noida, Uttar Pradesh late Wednesday evening. The workers say that they heard a loud bang in the evening and found flames burning the factory. Soon they alerted their co-workers and ran out of the factory exits which were in the opposite direction. According to the opinions, the fire started after a boiler burst in the production unit.
The fire was massive and the flames soon started spreading. However, the things are under-control now.
