Game Of Thrones Season 7 Finale: The Wolf And The Dragon Is All About Joy And Horror:

Game of Thrones Season 7 was both predictable and surprising for the viewers. One truth we can’t deny is that Winter has arrived now in Westeros.

The Game of Thrones’ makers has decided to end the season at the most anticipatory note. When the Night King and his dead army march into Westeros, you prepare yourself to die in anticipation. May be the title, “The Dragon and The Wolf” not be the best season ending for fans and the popular series have seen, but it can make a clear picture about the end that is to come. Most of the episodes are dedicated to the meeting in Dragon pit and convincing Cersei Lannister about the “Real War”, it’s the last 30 minutes that will take your heartbeat racing in faster rate with joy and fear in respective order.

The episode begins with all the known characters of the series meeting to talk, instead of killing. The Hound threatening his brother, to Euron asking for Theon’s submission and Cersei’s disgusting look to his brother, the meeting begins. It is full of hate, followed by horror. Daenerys Targaryen makes a grand entry just to annoy Cersei further.

Jon nearly convinces the queen on the throne about the danger by demonstrating the only way to kill the real threat and she agrees to stand down her army. However, the Stark blood takes the best of Jon and reveal his allegiance to the Dragon Queen by making Cersei angry. Later, Tyrion manages to convince her for the word. The thing to see here is Tyrion confusion between his house and his Queen. Daenerys believes that the Queen can bear no children while Cersei has one of the thrones. Here, the intelligent mind of Tyrion can cook something.

In Winterfell, the most unexpected but pleasant thing happens. Lord Petyr Baelish finds himself falling in his own trap. They say, “Nothing is more brave and loyal than a pack of wolves” and if anybody tries to sever their bond, he has to suffer his fate.

In the other hand, Samwell Tarly joins Bran in Winterfell, where the raven reveals Jon to be a sane, not a snow. He did it only to find out that Rhaegar actually married Lyanna. So Sam paid attention to the secret marriage at Drone detail. Not only this, also Jon’s actual name is Aegon Targaryen which is a name of Targaryen given mostly to the king.

The final series was the war between the living and the dead. Season 7 may have been one of the most fast-paced one till now. However, we hope in season 8, makers are in no hurry to pace up the narrative. Game of Thrones Season 7 was both predictable and surprising for the viewers. One truth we can’t deny is that Winter has arrived now in Westeros and not all coming back from it alive. A big plot-twist awaits!
