The incident has brought the safety rules in cricket back into focus.
Australian cricketer Phillip Hughes lost his life in November 2014 after the 26-Test old player was struck by a bouncer in Sheffield Shield match at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Recently, Australia’s vice-captain David Warner was hit in the head by a bouncer from Josh Hazelwood during a warm-up match.
Warner passed a concussion test following the blow but will sit out of the final day of the match.
