So finally the ultimate addition in the ‘Good News’ by the Government is here. A new Rs 1000 note will be launched! The news has been trending on internet and people are loving it. According to the latest reports, RBI is planning to bring back the new currency by this year’s December.
Yes, you saw it right. Our beloved Rs 1000 notes are coming back. The Narendra Modi Government, which pulled back all the Rs 1,000 notes on November 8, 2016, as part of demonetisation, is now almost on the verge of floating in a new reconfigured Rs 1,000 note, “to bridge the gap between the existing Rs 500 and Rs 2,000 notes”.
After the launch of the bright color Rs 200 note, the Rs 1,000 note’s return will be a big relief for the common people. The re-introduction of notes will surely ease daily transactions, particularly the smaller exchanges which are still run on cash (mostly).
“The printing presses at Mysore and Salboni are getting ready to print the brand-new Rs 1,000 notes with enhanced security features. The new notes could be issued as early as December 2017.” DNA report quoted by Business Today.
Well, the news came as a relief for the common people. The coming back of the 1000 rupee notes will fill the gap in between Rs 500 and Rs 2000. The economy will shape up in a more convenient and balanced manner. So let’s wait for yet another launching in favor of the nation.
