What’s the best thing that brings smile on your face? Surprises maybe? Don’t you feel delighted when your colleagues and friend throw a grand party on your birthday? You’ll be shocked if you win a million dollar lottery on some occasion! You’ll be amazed to know the surprise a lady got, who parked her car overnight outside a restaurant.
Paula Grzelak-Schultz said she left her car in the parking of Original Joe’s Restaurant & Bar the night of Oct. 17. She was speechless from the overwhelming and unexpected gesture by the restaurant owner. Instead of driving her car back home, evening after having a meal, she left her car in the parking. She had no clue what was awaiting her the next day.
Grzelak-Schultz was not only lauded, but was also gifted coupons of chicken wings because of exactly opposite reaction from the people who usually tow the cars. The management of the restaurant has given a thank you note attaching to her windshield and the lady, pointless to say, that she was delighted.
Later on, she took the note to Facebook to share with her friends and family. This happens to be a most positive thing for the restaurant, the post went viral in no time, and it was appreciated by 21,000 people and was shared by 8,000 people.
The note written on the paper given by restaurant was “Dear Original Joe’s Sherwood Park Guest, Just wanted to thank you for leaving your car parked overnight. I’m not sure if you had consumed alcohol at our restaurant or not, but we wanted to thank you for not drinking and driving. Enclosed is voucher good for 1lb of our delicious chicken wings. Please accept this as a thank you for being responsible. Life is valuable, have a great weekend.”
